Dogs Gone Dancin'
This page is dedicated to our dogs who have have transitioned from this life. They enriched our lives, touched our hearts, taught us well, and continue to inspire us.
'You will always be in my heart...because in there you're still alive.' - Jamie Cirello
Prom King at Senior Prom, November 2008, an event at which we honored our senior dogs & went through a lot of tissues. Kobe was one of the original members of DGD! Kobe was a rescue who was worried about any new person who entered a room, which led to many “stop-and-stare” moments during routines! But freestyle helped us get out into potentially scary situations, including demos at nursing homes, special events & parks, & helped him grow comfortable in his world. I miss him still! - Janet
Love my girl who taught me so much and is the reason I started Freestyle waaayyy back when Julie decided it would be a fun thing to try. Gitta went on to earn her Handi Dandi Musical Freestyle Championship. - Cindy
Rookie was our first dog. He was one of a kind, so smart, so independent and yet so loving and willing to please. He loved to go on long walks. In the freestyle ring, I never knew which dog I had, the one that wasn’t ready to perform or the dog that was having so much fun doing his own choreography. He taught me to train better, enjoy training, how to love every minute of performing and just share the joy of life. I love that dog and miss him. - Marilyn
